long over due

well here we are, almost the middle of July.

time sure flies by fast these days, i remember being a kid and thinking the day seemed to last forever, especially when you were laying in bed waiting for it to get dark out because to be perfectly honest, going to bed when it's still light out is absolutely ludicrous.

i'm 6ish month pregnant and starting to feel like it. some days i forget and then i see the side view in the mirror and i'm reminded of the little being growing inside me. or when it feels like there is an acrobat show happening in my tummy. i'm getting tired quicker, feeling sore a little faster, and growing out of my jeans and comfy t's : (

oh well all is not lost, with fashion on my side and the weather mostly cooperative i can still coast through the next month and a half? with little maternity wear. not that i don't have an ample supply of mat clothes, but to be honest (again) there is a little satisfactory pride in knowing you are X months pregnant and can still wear at least one or two things that aren't "designed" for swelling bellies. lol

summer has been great.
we went to the jazz fest for an evening.
we got our grass installed after wanting it for 3.45 years
we even have the luxury of AC if we so desire on those hot hot days, if they will come back to saskatoon some time...

andy is quick on his feet and very curious about how things work. he's pointing at body parts and trying to name them. he has his big boy teeth - molars - coming through, these suckers are worse than the first teeth to poke out. i don't blame the little man, i'd probably be a crab if i had 4 molars coming through all at once too.

i will end with a picture of our newly cleaned, sodded and de-treed backyard, one of the highlights of this summer so far : )
