life with two
so lately our days revolve around getting everyone fed
and cleaned
and entertained
and changed
and napped
and repeat
but seriously, life with two kids isn't too big of an adjustment. definately not as big of an adjustment as going from none to one. it's fun for the most part, watching Andy interact with his tiny little sister, he brings her hat to put on and likes to help burp her. Every once in a while he asks to 'ho ho' the baby, which is short for 'hold hold' - we're still working on saying complete words...lol it really is great to see him be so gentle with her, he's such a great brother. Claire's made it through the last almost 6 weeks with only one head butt and one bonk with a tooth brush...
Claire is growing so much, she seems alot bigger than Andy did at this point. She was a pound, an ounce, and one inch bigger than him at birth and i think she is growing at a faster rate too. We have our 6 week check up so we'll find out soon where we're at. She still has all her hair which is really fun and she's starting to smile. It really is amazing how much these little beings grow and learn and change in the first months/years.
Andy surprises us daily with new words and comprehension, and oh man the memory this kid has! We can ask him to go find a book or toy we haven't seen for days, and he'll go on his way and a while later he'll come back with it. For being almost 21 months old we think he's adjusted very well to having a sibling.

Hi! ooo the pumpkin cookies sound delish! I didn't notice much change with the honey, although I did used creamed honey instead of liquid so maybe that helped them keep their shape. They almost taste muffiny!
I'm glad to hear life with 2 isn't too much more difficult than life with 1. You and Dave have made some pretty good looking babies!
